Had a great time here for one night. The guest room we had was well-equipped with cups and glasses, which was convenient. The location was super secluded and peaceful, making the stay even better.

Portland Lodge is a fantastic base for a long weekend, with superb views of the sea. The breakfast is very very good, with delicious fruit juice and cereals. The location of the hotel in Portland is ideal and perfectly comfortable, with easy access to Portland, Weymouth, and Chesil Beach.

The Booked.net website said there were only 2 rooms left. when I arrived, I though the hotel was closed as it looked so 'dead'. There were only 2 other guests! The room had not been prepared for my arrival in that there was no heating on and it was very cold. Luckily, I had to go out to find somewhere for dinner and the room heated whilst I was gone.

This hotel offers great value for money, with affordable prices and basic amenities. The staff, particularly the friendly blonde lady at reception, were helpful and full of local knowledge. The location of the hotel, adjacent to the Tout Quarries nature reserve, provides a peaceful and scenic atmosphere. Additionally, it is conveniently close to Portland and there is a good pub nearby where you can watch the Lions game.

I had a really comfortable stay for one night. The place was fairly clean with pleasant staff and an excellent view of the sea. The location was close enough to Portland, Weymouth, and the Portland Bill Lighthouse. There were lots of options for breakfast in the dining room.
